Tell us about this mix:

It was recorded in my home studio. I wanted to showcase my diversity as a producer. There’s a lot of material in there, hopefully they’ll be released in 2019. Apart from from that, there’s a few tunes I’m feeling, as well as tunes from friends and fam.

When did you start DJing?

Around 2006. I started out on my brother-in-law’s Technics and Numark mixer. I always wanted decks! He ended up giving them to me.

First gig:

I think this was in a small basement club called Bacchus in Kingston-Upon-Thames.

Favorite party ever played:

There’s been way too many over the years.

Dada in Beijing is always great. The first time I played Cakeshop, Seoul was wild. Mutek Mexico a few years ago was great. Kitcheners in Johannesburg was an amazing vibe.

There’s also been lots of Hyperdub parties that have been mad.

Fave DJ:

Manara, A.G, Josey Rebelle, Shyone are my faves.

Fave producer:

I’m influenced by people like Missy Elliot, The Neptunes, Rich Harrison, Teddy Riley and J Dilla.

Pet peeve when DJing:

People trying to have a full on conversation with you when you're two faders up.

What’s the best compliment you’ve ever gotten?

I actually can’t think, all I can think of is all the lol backhanded ones.

Place you’d like to play:

I would love to play on a plane, maybe an A380.

Something you want everyone to know about you:

Eeek not sure about that one. I’m a pretty reserved person, I don’t like giving too much away.
