I first heard about precolumbian because she was originally intended to play our showcase in Philly a couple years back but had to pull out because of scheduling, so thankfully Dj Haram reintroduced us to her and her arresting sets. They tell a story and this mix is no different. It’s a reactive 40 minutes, a visceral journey that leaves you more woke than when you started. As she explains below this mix is about being a transwoman and the violence that is inflicted on transwomen daily, a more than pressing issue, an urgent issue that we need to wake up to reality of.
